Trade real historical price charts without knowing what they are or when they happened. More than 200 indexes, ETFs, stocks from around the world, crypto and commodities are drawn at random; everything is revealed at the end.
Every alternative invests your full starting capital on day 1 and holds to the end. Gross = no commission, spread or tax (for you: your same trades filled at the mid price). Net = whole shares with your broker's spread and commission, and your tax regime applied to the final sale. Indexes are bought as if through a fund priced at 100, over the same calendar dates as your charts; with charts from different periods, capital is split equally across those periods. Index levels exclude dividends (except the DAX), so they understate what a real index fund returned. Annual rates are compounded over game years (252 trading days) and are extrapolated for sessions under a year.
* Real prices are split- and dividend-adjusted closes (total return), so older stock prices look lower than what was quoted at the time. Index levels are unadjusted; commodities are rolling front-month futures. Crypto trades every day, so a game year of crypto is about 8½ calendar months. Data: Yahoo Finance daily closes.
